The home of the Welsh Greyhound Derby

We’re back! Racing returns to The Valley. Visit the News section of this website to find out more.

The Valley Greyhound Stadium is Wales’s last remaining greyhound racing track. With racing on Saturday evenings (and many Thursday evenings, too) – and around a hundred greyhounds on the strength at any time – it is still one of the greatest, and cheapest, family fun nights out in the South Wales valleys.

You can watch recordings of some thrilling races in the Videos section of this website.

It’s particularly great if you have young kids – they are welcome in all areas of the stadium, which means that you can have a quick shandy without having to worry about their safety.
